At the Literacy and Learning Centre, we specialise in comprehensive assessments for adults, focusing on identifying dyslexia, learning difficulties, and ADHD.
Our assessments offer valuable insights for those seeking a deeper understanding of their own learning differences or clarity on challenges they’ve faced. Many parents, while supporting their children through the assessment process, gain new perspectives on their own experiences with learning. Recognising similarities between their child’s struggles and their own can lead them to seek a deeper understanding of past difficulties through their own formal assessment.
Our skilled psychologists provide personalised assessments tailored to your unique strengths and challenges. We’re here to guide and support you every step of the way, helping you uncover your potential and address any learning barriers.

A note on ADHD assessments for adults Assessments at the Literacy and Learning Centre are completed by Psychologists. For those seeking medication pathways for the treatment of ADHD, a psychiatric assessment is needed. Our reports can be shared with your psychiatrist to assist in this process; however, it is important to note that all psychiatrists will follow their own assessment process. An assessment does not guarantee that medication will be prescribed. Assessments completed at the Literacy and Learning Centre will allow client to better understand and manage their neurodivergence, with detailed strategies for support provided.
